The Model Self Sustaining Village
Our model village started out during the covid lockdowns where villages in Uganda were locked down for 84 weeks and people started to starve and they ate all their own seeds and so had nothing to plant. Around this time I had a conversation with someone I know in Africa named Luc who told me the only faintest chance for self betterment in Africa is to self sustain its villages and from that an idea was born “to create a model self sustaining village and pay it forward village by village across Africa”.
Additionally I decided to use trained Volunteers, trained in specific life skills on subjects such as Marriage, Children, Ethics, Integrity, How to Resolve Conflicts, the Answer to Drugs, Targets and Goals, Organization, How to Study etc., etc. I wanted to train armies of these Volunteers as the work force to create these villages. We have 19 Life Skills Courses so far and we will add more courses on things like how to build a solar oven, reforestation, composting toilets, water management during floods etc., etc.
I recruited a like minded person in Uganda named Martin to join me in this Crusade, he carrying out our plans and me coming up with ideas, direction and funding. We became this unstoppable team working together on opposite sides of the globe with a common purpose to end starvation and bring prosperity and happiness to his Village, his Parish, his Subcounty, his District, his Country and then Africa and the World.
Every continent on earth has these villages, they need to self sustain and all charity should be aimed in that direction. Charity is a slippery slope, to rely on charity is suicide, to use it to self sustain is crucial and needed. If all the charity from the past had been used in this direction, Africa would have self sustained decades ago.
Any projects you are interested in creating in our model village please email me your ideas at vmwangaparrish@gmail.com (ideas like solar energy projects, fish farming, vertical farming, alternative energy, mushroom growing, irrigation projects, drought management, water purification, health clinic projects, business development projects and other livestock raising ideas).
Now is our chance to help these villages thrive and prosper. Your help is truly needed.

INCOMPLETE PROJECTS TO CREATE THE MODEL VILLAGE
- Secondary School Project. We have 10 acres donated for a Secondary School to open up higher education to 26 villages with a population of about 10,000. We need to build a five room school, furnish the school, get books and school supplies, athletic equipment and uniforms and have a fully equipped science lab and also an office. The school is already registered.
2. Medical Clinic Project. We have registered a medical clinic and we have a full time nurse and an on call Doctor but we need to get an ambupod which is an ambulance made in India for villages where you can pull the ambulance behind a motorcycle and the ambulance is a fully equipped, tiny clinic on wheels that can go village to village. Also we want a fully equipped clinic that has the capability of doing C section operations and minor surgeries.
