Model village medical clinic
Our model village in Uganda has a nurse named Vicky who has been there now close to three years and she has helped countless people with testing, medicine and education. She operates out of the Priests office in the small Church and mainly goes from village to village with Arthur helping people they come across in each village.
We have a Doctor who is on call for the clinic we have already registered.
Our ideal scene for the model village is to have a small clinic capable of doing C section operations and small surgeries. It needs to be fully stocked with malaria and typhoid medicine as well as other medicines and supplies.
The most ideal thing for this model village is to purchase an ambupod and motorcycle. This ambupod is a mobile ambulance pulled by a motorcycle and is a fully equipped but tiny medical clinic on wheels that can easily travel through small villages. It is made in India. There are two types of ambupods, one is a fully enclosed tiny ambulance and the other is an ambulance pulled by a motorcycle. Perhaps the fully enclosed one might be the better option during raining season. I just tried to imagine driving a motorcyle in the types of heavy rains they get!! No thanks!!!
