Liberian Medical Clinic
Joseph is our leader in Liberia and his sister just joined our Crusade to create self sustaining villages and orphanages. She just graduated nursing school and brought two other nurses who graduated with her to our orphanage! All three want to join the crusade and I am raising money to build a small clinic on the property owned by the orphanage with an apartment attached for the three nurses to live in.
I want to fully equip the clinic so they can properly look after the orphans and staff and also villagers. They need a stockpile of malaria and typhoid medicines and testing kits as a priority. They also need equipment. This is such a vital project. The three nurses just helped with a malaria/typhoid epidemic that prior to their arrival had killed 19 people, mostly children.
To move the nurses to one of the villages near the orphanage I need to buy them mattresses, pillows, sheets, blankets and mosquito nets for about $300. Currently they live in their birth villages two hours away. This is VITAL, we are still the middle of handling the typhoid and malaria outbreak and have 51 people left to treat and need $150 for more medicine. This is written on Feb 6, 2025.
